Missy, your performances are even more assured than ever - truly mesmerizing. You manage to draw attention away from some incredible bandmates on a regular basis. Mike - watching the various ways that you attacked your guitar at the Lager House and Neutral Zone was fascinating. I worry a bit though about the zeal with which you sing the line "I'm a proud girl" during GROUNDED. Ian, from what I could hear, you were nailing every song. Joe, always interesting to talk to you about the various cities you've ventured into. You sounded great on the Homeboy show, as well as in the bars. Glad to see you pull that accordian front and center now and then too. Dan, watching you at the Neutral Zone and Xhedos was really interesting. You play with a style that I've never seen before - not just the sounds, but your mannerisms. Your playing on SCHUBERT in Ann Arbor made the long night worthwhile. Wrote... Great show last night at the Neutral Zone (what a cool place for teens by the way). Seemed like you all played with a little more aggression, possibly due to the nature of the crowd? "Schubert" in particular was incredibly intense, with a great (borrowed phrase) dichotomy with Mike, Missy and Dan thrashing around wildly on the right side of the stage, while Ian (great playing last night) and Joe were off to the left, just keeping the time and not reacting at all to the action across stage.
